PADI IDC Gili Islands training

Excellent PADI IDC Gili Islands training at Oceans 5 Gili Air

Improvements in the PADI IDC Gili Islands

In 2017 PADI IDC Gili Island is improving their Instructor Courses. The reason for the improvements are that Oceans 5 likes to offer the best quality course for their Instructor Course Candidates at Gili Air.s

First of all Oceans 5 is increasing their amount of PADI Course Directors. The reason for this logic step is:

  1. First of all the course directors will cover more languages. This is more relaxing for the instructor candidates when they are joying the PADI Instructor Development Course. If the candidates have questions, nothing is more easy to get them explained in the native spoken language of the candidate.
  2. Even when there is a PADI Instructor Course with 10 instructor candidates, the instructor develepment course will be done by more PADI Course Directors and not by an IDC Staff Instructor. The instructor candidates are paying for a course with a Course Director and expecting this also from the dive center where the conduct the instructor course. Have a look at our PADI IDC youtube video about the PADI IDC facilities at Oceans 5 Gili Air.
Second improvement are the facilities. Oceans 5 likes to get the most relaxing atmosphere during the PADI Instructor Course. Specially when there are more candidates that need translations this gives some friction during the program. Oceans 5 has build in the last 1,5 year another training pool and another classroom. This will give the space to run specially language IDCs next to each other.

Third, Oceans 5 works together with Gili Shark Conservation. This is a conservation program on the Gili Islands, who are analysing the habitat of the sharks, turtles and rays around the Gili Islands.

PADI IDC Gili Islands

The PADI IDC Gili Islands are running twelve PADI Instructor Development Courses at Oceans 5 Gili Air in 2017. The PADI Course Directors, Giny, Joeri, Alina and Sander, have put a 14 days instructor program tobgether included the EFR Instructor Course. The days are starting at 8.30 and will be finish at 17.00 with a drink at the bar.

Before the PADI Instructor course starts there is possible to join the free IDC preparation course. During the course of 5 days the course directors will improve your dive theory and diving skills to instructor level.

After the PADI Instructor Examination there are possibilities to start the Master Scuba Diver Trainer program or to assist the experienced instructors at Oceans 5 while they are conducting PADI courses.
